WoW Classic Character Cloning Service Rates To Go Down!

Have you ever seen a corporation or company reversing their moves due to the backlash from their community? Well, surprisingly, it’s Blizzard this time that had to retrace their moves. The gaming giant literally brought down the WoW Classic Character cloning service rate all the way from $35 to $15. For those who don’t know, here we are talking per character basis.

As per reports, the Burning Crusade Classic Pre-Patch should go live from May 18, giving you a chance to either move on to a Vanilla experience without incurring any charges, or you may continue with the present realm and let Burning Crusade load at the start of June.

Also, did you know that Burning Crusade Classic is going to be the first expansion of the WoW Classic version! There are high chances that other previously released expansions of regular WoW may also make up for the Classic version. To know about all those earlier expansions of WoW, just click here!

The WoW Classic character cloning service was actually added for both the present versions, where the players could have the same character, basically a clone, as the name says. Sadly, the move didn’t go down well with the community, resulting in a mass backslash, including from big names like Asmongold.

Spending so much on all kinds of in-app experiences isn’t the best way to deal with the game! If you are ready to invest, and make the most out of the money and time, then we recommend you to try the best boosting services by clicking here

Here’s an extract from the forum post on what Blizzard had to say on the whole WoW Classic Character Cloning Service rate matter:

“Our original concept of the value of this service was largely based on how we price other optional items and services. We want players who choose Classic Era realms to feel as though their choice comes with the possibility that they’ll be able to build relationships and guilds with other players they can count on.

However, over the last week or so, we’ve gotten a very large amount of feedback from the community, and we’ve decided to lower the price. A lower price will likely still accomplish our goals with the new service, while allowing many more players to explore the option of playing characters on both Classic Era and Burning Crusade Classic realms.

After careful consideration”, Blizzard has lowered the price of a cloned character in World of Warcraft Classic to $15. You’ll see the lower price in-game when the service becomes available next week”

Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time that Blizzard has faced such a high level of criticisms for in-app purchases from its players worldwide. Right from charging high for the recent Dark Portal Pass to the heavy prices for character transfers to other realms, it seems like Blizzard has left no chance unturned to milk out its players.

Conclusion:

We totally understand that the very existing point of any corporation is to churn out profits. Infact, if you are a business student, you would yourself know and understand that the main aim of an entity is to aim for profits, and the same is being done by Blizzard. However, in the name of profits, it seems to have forgotten its other parallel duties. If it goes on to charge high to its customers, then in the long run, it may prove to be a very bad move.

Charging $35 for Wow Classic character cloning service just sounds insane! That’s too much for an in-game experience! To some extent, we believe that the new price; $15 per character cloning is also not that reasonable, however, it should do the work for at least now. Famous Warcraft players and influencers have gone on talking about how in recent times, Blizzard has gone crazy for money making through World of Warcraft. Let’s be hopeful that Blizzard ends up understanding and re-figuring out their business moves.
